Hayli Springer
Outpatient Therapist
Hayli earned her Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2020, where she majored in Psychology. Hayli went on to earn her Master’s in Psychology from Marywood University in 2023. During her graduate internship she worked at Pennsylvania College of Technology as a counselor where she served the college population. During her time at Penn College she provided individual counseling to the students and worked with individuals with various concerns (i.e. depression, anxiety, PTSD, stress, life transitions, family, identity exploration, self-esteem, relationship). In addition, Hayli conducted outreach and presentations to the students on campus providing them with mental health education and awareness utilizing relevant college statistics.
Finishing out her graduate internship Hayli joined Therapeutic Behavioral Health Services (TBHS) in 2023 starting as a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) and outpatient therapist. As a BHT Hayli collected data and provided direct interventions to help support children with intense behavioral needs. As an outpatient therapist, Hayli provided individual therapy to clients of all ages and with various needs. During her internship period, Hayli also compiled data and created the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 quality improvement report for TBHS.
After her internship period, Hayli joined TBHS full time as a Behavior Consultant (BC) and outpatient therapist. Her role as a BC includes supporting children with intense behavioral and emotional disruptions, conducting assessments, writing reports for services, creating treatment plans, and working with families and schools to facilitate collaborative care that will best support the child. As an outpatient therapist, Hayli provides individual therapy to a wide population of individuals with various presenting concerns by utilizing a client-centered approach supported with evidence based treatments. Hayli’s areas of interest include depression, anxiety, stress management, life transitions, and identity development.
